1. What Is Sprocket?

* A sprocket is a contoured wheel with teeth or cogs that interlock with a chain, track, or other perforated/notched components. The term “sprocket” broadly refers to any wheel with radial projections designed to engage with a chain traveling over it.

* Sprockets can be mounted on either the front or rear of a vehicle—sometimes both. In specific configurations, an additional elevated sprocket may also be included to power the track.

* G33MnCrMo5, G33Mn4, SCMnCr4B, ZG40Mn, and ZG35Mn materials are used for sprocket depending on the model, size and working conditions. The surface hardness reaches HRC48-56 with minimum hardness depth between 5-10mm(HRC45) after the heat treatment process.
